I have nothing else but a qml with import strophe.js as Strophe and there I try to var connection = new Strophe.Connection(myBoshServer) as told in strophe tutorial. but i don’t have the braincells for that mcyt tommyinnit dream smp vee makes posts tommy c!tommy acting 2.I'm experimenting using Strophe.js to get BOSH connection between my server and QML app (mostly because it would make HTML5QML porting reeeally easy in case of certain kind of apps that use BOSH). why is he so good at this tbh i think if tommy decided to take an acting class or two he could become quite the force to be reckoned with also there’s another post to be made about c!tommy’s more violent tendencies of late (torturing connor) + anger at tubbo/lmanberg + the influence of c!techno. he may have his pep back but he’s a far cry from the tommyinnit of old smp days, and he probably won’t ever be again, just - tommy is so good at this man. and it’s clear that he misses tubbo something fierce. he regularly looks to techno for reassurance and guidance and he gets nervous over little mistakes, like when he was trying to follow techno and went down the wrong ladder and immediately apologized. he says please and thank you and sorry and means them. when he really gets in character and isn’t blustering to keep a tough appearance, c!tommy is quieter, gentler, more hesitant. even though the depression arc is over and c!tommy is much livelier and healthier now, he’s changed a lot and I continue to be impressed by how committed tommy is to showing that. just look at fandoms like star trek and lord of the rings!Īnd it may just be my battle scars from the supernatural fandom, but personally? i would 100x prefer a real dsmp ending soon instead of an awkward, drawn out death with no definitive conclusion.ĭsmp isn’t a tv show where every year they need a new season to keep raking in money, even at the expense of the story and characters - these ccs have built successful careers that don’t rely solely on the smp for their success. fandom is like a bug - it’s hard to squish. people will keep revisiting and loving old dream smp for a long, long time. it doesn’t matter if you’re late to this party, because it’s immortalized online. dream smp seasons 1 and 2 will go down in mcyt history. the best we can do is make the most of what what we have. i can’t deny that the dsmp is closer to the end of its life than its start.
